Michael Bonner (1952 – 25 Mei 2019) adalah seorang cendekiawan studi Islam Amerika.[1] Ia menerima gelar doktor dalam studi Timur Dekat dari Princeton pada tahun 1987. Ia adalah seorang profesor sejarah Islam abad pertengahan di Universitas Michigan, Ann Arbor, di mana ia menjabat sebagai ketua departemen Studi Timur Dekat dari tahun 2010 hingga 2019. Selain monografnya, ia menerbitkan lusinan artikel ilmiah dan terjemahan.[2]
