Allah Anak (juga disebut Allah Putra) adalah pribadi kedua dari Tritunggal (Trinitas) dalam teologi Kristen. Doktrin Trinitas mengidentifikasikan Yesus sebagai Allah Anak, yang satu dalam esensi tetapi berbeda secara pribadi dengan Allah Bapa dan Allah Roh Kudus (pribadi pertama dan pribadi ketiga dalam urutan penyebutan).

suntingUngkapan "Allah Anak" tidak ditemukan dalam Alkitab,[1][2] tetapi ditemukan dalam sumber-sumber Kristen selanjutnya.[3] Dengan kesalahan juru tulis, istilah ini ada dalam satu manuskrip abad pertengahan, MS No.1985, di mana Galatia 2:20 mengubah "Anak Allah" menjadi "Allah Anak".[4]
Istilah dalam bahasa Indonesia mengikuti penggunaan Latin seperti yang ditemukan dalam Pengakuan Iman Athanasius dan teks-teks lain dari gereja mula-mula: Dalam bahasa Yunani "Allah Anak" adalah ho Theos ho huios (ὁ Θεός ὁ υἱός) sebagai perbedaan dari ho huios (nominatif) tou Theou (genitif), ὁ υἱός τοῦ Θεοῦ, "Anak Allah". Dalam bahasa Latin "Allah Anak" adalah Deus (nominatif) Filius (nominatif). Istilah deus filius dapat ditemukan dalam Pengakuan Iman Athanasius: "Et tamen non tres omnipotentes, sed unus omnipotens. Ita Deus Pater, Deus Filius, Deus [et] Spiritus Sanctus."(berbeda dari filius Dei genitif "anak Allah"), tetapi frasa ini juga diterjemahkan sebagai "Jadi Bapa adalah Allah: Anak adalah Allah: dan Roh Kudus adalah Allah".[5]
Pandangan Calvinis
suntingYohanes Calvin menjelaskan bahwa Allah Anak memiliki perbedaan dengan Allah Bapa dan Allah Roh Kudus.[6] Ia berpendapat bahwa Allah Anak memiliki kekhasan tersendiri yang membedakannya dengan Allah Bapa dan Allah Roh Kudus, karena yang keluar dari Bapa adalah Anak, bukannya Roh Kudus dan yang mati dan menderita juga bukanlah Bapa maupun Roh Kudus, melainkan Anak.[6]
