Dalam rekayasa geoteknik, struktur tanah adalah susunan bagian padat tanah dan ruang pori yang terletak di antara keduanya. Hal ini ditentukan oleh bagaimana masing-masing butiran tanah menggumpal, terikat bersama, dan berkumpul, sehingga menghasilkan susunan pori-pori tanah di antara butiran-butiran tersebut. Tanah mempunyai pengaruh besar terhadap pergerakan air dan udara, aktivitas biologi, pertumbuhan akar dan kemunculan bibit. Struktur tanah pada dasarnya adalah sistem yang dinamis dan kompleks yang dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor.
