Sam Anderson (lahir 2 April 1947) adalah seorang aktor asal Amerika Serikat. Ia dikenal karena peran-peran karakternya seperti Sam Gorpley dalam Perfect Strangers, Kepala Sekolah Willis DeWitt dalam Growing Pains, Holland Manners dalam Angel, dokter gigi Bernard Nadler dalam Lost, Dokter Harad dalam Friends, dan dalam film, sebagai kepala sekolah dalam Forrest Gump.[2][3]
Kehidupan awal
suntingAnderson lahir di Clark, South Dakota dan tumbuh di Wahpeton, North Dakota.[4] Ia menerima gelar Master of Arts dalam sastra Amerika dan penulisan kreatif di Universitas North Dakota dan Universitas Wisconsin.[5] Selama tahun 1970-an, ia mengajar drama di Antelope Valley College di Lancaster, California.
