打製石器考古学中指表面部分或全部经由人工敲打而成的石器,是古代人類(能人、直立人和智人)於舊石器時代主要使用的一种工具,作為該時代的分界線。打製石器於磨製石器前出現,在後者落後一些,後者於新石器時代出現。
