Andy Summers (terlahir Andrew James Summers, lahir 31 Desember 1942)[1] adalah gitaris dan komponis Inggris. Dia terkenal ketika bergabung dengan The Police mendampingi Henry Padovani dan pada tahun berikutnya menjadi gitaris satu-satunya The Police.
Kehidupan awal
suntingKetika masih kecil, keluarganya pindah ke Bournemouth, Dorset. Setelah beberapa tahun belajar bermain piano, dia mencoba belajar bermain gitar pada umur 13 tahun. Pada umur 16 tahun, dia bermain di klab lokal. Pada umur 19 tahun, dia pindah ke London bersama Zoot Money dan membentuk Zoot Money's Big Roll Band.[2]
